Johnny Kanavas joins RJ Racing for the 2011 25-Hours of Thunderhill
San Clemente, CA (11.29.11): Returning for his seventh run at the USAF NASA 25-Hours of Thunderhill, Johnny Kanavas will pilot the RJ Racing No. 23 Mazda MX-5 in the E3 class with co-drivers Craig Evans, Jaime Florence, Rob Gibson and John Gibson through this brutal 25 hour test of endurance.
The RJ Racing team is well versed in endurance racing as regular competitors in the NASA Western Endurance Championship and finishing as high as 2nd place at the 25-hours of Thunderhill in 2008. The blue and orange Mazda MX-5 will again be competing for a class win among a swarm of other Mazdas, Hondas, BMW’s, and more…
